Hydraulic brakes on bike
When you press the brake lever on the handlebar cable pulling these levers to each other, thereby pressing the pads to the rim. As in the previous case, this type of brake has a low efficiency of braking. Hydraulic brakes on a bicycle comprise a control cylinder with a piston, located on the steering wheel at the brake lever. Brake pads are actuated by means of the piston. Hydraulic brake fluid used for force transmission from the handle to the brake pads. Since practically incompressible fluid, the hydraulic brakes efficiency is much higher than the mechanical. Hydraulic brake as erase blocks can be adjusted independently. But in the case of hydraulic brakes gated need to regulate them as well. When you press the brake lever on the steering wheel both pads simultaneously on both sides of the rim squeeze, stopping the bike. For many years, mostly on mountain bikes set this type of brake.
